New Hope Foster Home

The responsibility of volunteers is to provide stimulation and exposure to English through the daily kindergarten classes from Monday to Friday. This is essential for building self confidence and improving quality of life both for the terminally ill and those who are well enough to be adopted later.

Management is busy with the running of the home and with the babies’ medical issues and so volunteers are expected to get on with their duties without detailed supervision. Volunteers are also asked to help update reports on children for their ‘sponsors’ overseas and to help keep a scrapbook for each children which will help give them a history when they are adopted.
