This project is not presently accepting international volunteers
Volunteers need to arrive in Guangzhou around mid July. There will be no volunteers going to the camp this summer (2020) but usually the summer camp will run for the last week of July and there will be one week of preparation.
At least a basic level of undergraduate spoken Mandarin Chinese is required.
The purpose of the programme is to give the ‘campers’ an experience which boosts their self confidence and exposes them to a wide range of activities from public speaking to amateur movie making.
Volunteers are asked to help with every aspect of the smooth running of the camp from physical assistance to planning and running the activities.
This is a great opportunity to work with local staff and volunteers on very worthwhile project. We need volunteers who are flexible, hardworking and willing to work as part of a team.
